Penn Charter Summer Camps will be in-person this summer with many of your favorite camps as well as some new ones, all of which will follow CDC guidelines for a safe, fun-filled summer experience.

The fundamental purpose of Day Camp, ages 3-14, is to provide a happy, productive summer for children. The companionship of peers and the leadership of trained counselors attuned to the physical, social and emotional needs of children enrich the experience. Activities include: instructional swim, free swim, tennis, art, archery, music, dance, drama, sports and games, electives, summer theme, guest performers and color team contests.

Sports Camp, ages 6-14, is designed for the athlete who truly loves sports. Open to the beginner, intermediate and advanced athlete, the camp offers instruction, competition, coaching, games and fun in eight sports a week.

We have redesigned Performing Arts Camp, ages 6-14, to meet current CDC health guidelines for the performing arts and are excited to offer a creative and safe experience for our campers. Campers will participate in daily music, dance, drama and design classes and will work on performance projects throughout the week that revolve around a fun weekly theme. Camp is divided into four separate one-week sessions, and campers can sign up for as many weeks as they wish.

Varsity Camps that offer advanced instruction by varsity coaches will return with squash, baseball, basketball and soccer. Campers will experience skill development, drills, game play, conditioning, fitness and motivation.

Girls Empowerment Camp returns, combining creative arts, physical challenge, community service, team-building activities and self-reflection to provide girls with an opportunity to build confidence and step outside of their comfort zones.

Four science camps, two chess camps and Young Architects Camp provide additional opportunities to explore and develop new interests.
