Sleepy

The subject of the photograph is my dog Sophie who was tired from a long day of playing. She usually never stays still so this was the perfect moment to capture a picture. This photo was made by using an iPhone and tilting the camera slightly to get at the same level and angle as the subject. I had made this photo because I was exploring with white balance. While experiencing with white balance I was able to see different shadows and different light patterns and reflections. I focused on my dog’s face and paw because it seems that her paw is almost reaching out of the picture.

Stairwell

I had taken this photograph when working on compositional tips. The composition of this photograph is diagonal. Showing the diagonal lines of the stairs and the ledge. I had chosen this as a subject because of the light and the way each of the lines coexisted with one another. I also thought this would make a pretty shot because of the patterns and the way the camera was positioned. I really enjoyed coming up with pictures and ideas for this subject and composition
