Keynote speaker:
Kevin Powell is an acclaimed civil and human rights activist, author, poet, and entrepreneur. He is the author of 13 books, including his critically acclaimed autobiography, The Education of Kevin Powell: A Boy’s Journey into Manhood.

Workshops will be student-led and will focus on topics around diversity, equity, and inclusion. High school students from all schools are welcome to lead a workshop at CISDC. Please submit your proposal by Wednesday, Feb. 19. Last year’s student-led workshops included False Representation in the Media and Colorism.
