The following message was sent to Upper School students in an email from Upper School Director Lee Payton.
We want to make our school a safer place for all students and we are aware that not everyone feels safe. We will be sharing regular updates in videos and through the week ahead to keep you up to date on the work of the Task Forces. In the coming week you will have two ways to get involved and share your experience.
Race & Equity Task Force Student Survey
The students of the Race Equity Task Force have created a short and anonymous survey for you to share your experiences with us. We will use information from this survey to determine our next steps for outreach in the community.

Gender Equity, Sexuality & Consent Task Force Listening Circles
We are hosting Listening Circles (30 minutes each) in March to learn from you. Listening Circles are a way to gather information while also making a space for community healing. We hope to learn what areas of our curriculum, focused on gender equity, sexuality, gender identity, consent and personal safety, you think have been effective and where we need to improve. We will be reviewing this information along with the social media posts from this summer and reflections from our faculty and OPC community to make specific curriculum recommendations to our administration.
