Performing Arts Camp features exceptional instruction with professional actors, dancers, musicians and stage designers who love what they do! In addition to daily instruction in music, dance, drama and design, campers will have the opportunity to participate in a full-scale musical production, Mary Poppins, Jr. With the Kurtz Center for the Performing Arts as our home, campers will have access to all that this state-of-the-art facility has to offer. And see photos of the 2016 production of Lion King, Jr. and 2017 High School Musical, Jr.
Campers will begin each day in classes learning about the craft of theater and developing their performance skills. Then, in the afternoon, they will launch into rehearsals or camp activities, or participate in weekly workshops. Our goal is for campers to have fun, develop confidence, make new friends and learn how to be better performers in the process. Join us this summer for a chance to sing, dance, act, create and perform!
