Beginning of the Fall Season

It has been great to see all our Upper School teams start their fall seasons. Boys and girls (defending Inter Ac and State Champions) soccer are off to particularly strong starts. We look forward to them competing for Inter Ac titles. Field Hockey is very young but the squad is enthusiastic and has already shown great improvement. Boys and Girls cross country have had very good starts. They both did very well in the relays this past weekend. Football is young and just had a great win over Neumann Goretti Saturday evening. Our numbers and talent have improved a great deal and we hope to see continued improvement. Girls tennis is strong again this fall and we should compete at the very top of the Inter Ac. Our golfers look very strong this year. After winning individual titles for the season and league tournament our young players are ready to push the best teams in the conference. Girls water polo shows great improvement. Our numbers and talent is way up. We now have to start to believe in ourselves to compete at a higher level. For the first time in many years we will have a jv. Boys water polo is starting strong and will compete for Inter Ac (have won 4 straight) and Easterns (defending champions) titles again this fall. Come our and support the Quakers. Follow us on Twitter @wpcsports

Good luck to all our teams this fall.

Go Charter!

The spirit of Penn Charter athletics is built on a storied tradition of excellence and the belief that the interplay of academics, arts and athletics leads to strong, creative, resilient and flexible people.

Skilled teachers and coaches help our students understand – whether on the playing field or in the classroom – how to collaborate and compete, how to win with grace, and how to handle challenges and setbacks.

Our school cheer is: Go Charter!

We appreciate the student athletes who are now powering PC to great feats, and look forward to welcoming those who will do so in the future. Also, of course, we eternally appreciate the efforts of all OPCs!
