Girls BBall Up their Record to 4-1
Given a choice, the girls varsity basketball would probably prefer to play games pretty much every day right now. That's because coach Joe Maguire's squad is hot, hot, hot.
Wednesday, the Quakers upped their overall record to 4-1 with a 49-44 win over Abington Friends.
Senior Hannah Fox not only bagged 21 points, five rebounds and three assists, but sniped 8-for-8 at the line in a 15-12 fourth quarter. Classmate Ayanna Matthews added 16 points while junior Mireyah Davis claimed five rebounds.
The team's next game will be Tuesday, at home, vs. Baldwin.
