Final Games, Plus Post-Season Dates

The spring season is wrapping up, so there is lots of activity:

Boys and girls track conclude thier seasons today, competeing at the PIASAA state meet at the Hill School in Pottstown. Follow the coverage live.

Boys lax continue the Inter-Ac Challenge with a second-round game tonight against the 2nd seed Haverford School. The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken will host four games, with PC vs Haverford tipping off at 5pm. Directions and remaining tournament information.

Softball completes its regular season with a home game today vs AI and a trip to EA tomorrow. Game times are 4pm. A win in either game will give the undefeated girls team the outright title, having clinched at least a tie in Monday's win over GA. The bracket for the PIASAA tournament has been released and PC is seeded 1st in a field of seven. The girls will face the winner of EA vs Baldwin at home on Max Gross field next Thursday, May 26, at 4pm. The winner will advance to the championship game at a site TBD.

Baseball ends its regular season with a home game today vs Haverford and an away game tomorrow at SCH, both games begin at 4pm. The boys have the 4th seed in the PIASAA tournament and will host the winner of Mercersburg vs Westtown next Thursday, May 26, at 3:45pm. The winner will advance to the semifinals Saturday, May 28, at a site and time TBD. 

Girls lacrosse completed its regular season and has garnered the 3rd seed in the PIASAA tournament and will host Friends Central on Friday, May 20, at 4pm on the Stadium Field. The winner will advance to the semi-finals, Tuesday, May 24 at a site and time TBD.

  • five grass playing fields, two synthetic turf fields, one all-weather, eight-lane track, seven tennis courts, 10 squash courts, four basketball courts, and one swimming pool.
  • PC has four buildings designated for athletics: Graham Athletics Center — with the new Blaine A. Steinberg OPC '11 Center for Fitness and Performance  Kline & Specter Squash Center, Ray Dooney Field House, and the Old Gym.
