Daryl Worley Makes NFL Debut

Penn Charter has now produced three NFL players.

The latest, Daryl Worley OPC '13, made his debut Thursday night in a 2016 opener, playing cornerback for the Carolina Panthers in a loss to the Denver Broncos.

Daryl Worley Carolina Panthers Penn Charter football Inter-AcReceiver Kirk Hershey OPC '37 and quarterback Matt Ryan OPC '03 were the first two Quakers to make the big time. Hershey split his college career between Carroll College, in Wisconsin, and Cornell University. Ryan played at Boston College.

Worley, out of West Virginia University, is the first Quaker to play in the NFL after just three college seasons.
