This Roundup includes highlights from the month of September. Next Monday, we will switch to a Weekly Roundup of athletics.

Sept. 7, 2016: Boys soccer played an outstanding game against the 2015 #1 nationally ranked St. Benedict School (Newark, NJ).

Girls soccer was on a tear the week of Sept. 12, with Coach Borski's baby, Jace, a chubby-cheeked cheerleader.

Sept. 20, 2016: A busy Tuesday produced wins for golf, water polo and tennis.

Sept. 23, 2016: Mike "Neeko" Hnatkowsky, PC's senior QB, captured the Inter-Ac passing record, with guidance from Offensive Coordinator Chris Rahill OPC '99.

Sept. 25, 2016: Girls tennis shut out Germantown Academy, 7-0.

Sept. 26, 2016: Golf won second of three league tournaments.

Sept. 28, 2016: Field hockey landed a win vs. Central High School.

SportsZone featured some off-season reporting of PC baseball at Fenway, junior Mike Siani and the national U-18 baseball team, and swimmer Reece Whitley at the Junior Pan Pacific Games, as well as the NFL debut of Daryl Worley OPC '13.

See photos of PC athletics by our own Ted Silary OPC '69 on his Flickr page, and keep an eye out for Zamani Feelings' action shots of our varsity athletes in a future post.

Go Charter!

The spirit of Penn Charter athletics is built on a storied tradition of excellence and the belief that the interplay of academics, arts and athletics leads to strong, creative, resilient and flexible people.

Skilled teachers and coaches help our students understand – whether on the playing field or in the classroom – how to collaborate and compete, how to win with grace, and how to handle challenges and setbacks.

Our school cheer is: Go Charter!

We appreciate the student athletes who are now powering PC to great feats, and look forward to welcoming those who will do so in the future. Also, of course, we eternally appreciate the efforts of all OPCs!
