Winter Break Round Up: Dec. 11 - Jan. 1

Athletes were busy throughout December even though winter break kept classrooms quiet for two weeks. Highlights from the end of 2017 include:

Dec. 13: Boys BKB wins in overtime.

Dec. 14: Girls swimmers place first in every event vs. Baldwin.

Dec. 15: Tight win against SCH Academy for boys squash.

Dec. 17: Wrestling defeats Archbishop Ryan.

Dec. 22: Youngest players lead girls BKB to a win.

Dec. 30: Wins for boys and girls BKB.

As 2018 opened, Ted Silary OPC '69 opened his stats for a review of PC quarterbacks as producers in boys BKB.

Penn Charter has provided student athletes with resources to match their talents. On 44 acres, Penn Charter offers its players and fans:

  • five grass playing fields, two synthetic turf fields, one all-weather, eight-lane track, seven tennis courts, 10 squash courts, four basketball courts, and one swimming pool.
  • PC has four buildings designated for athletics: Graham Athletics Center — with the new Blaine A. Steinberg OPC '11 Center for Fitness and Performance  Kline & Specter Squash Center, Ray Dooney Field House, and the Old Gym.
