Boys Lax, Tennis Lose at Home

Boys tennis suffered a tough 6-1 loss to the Haverford School at home on Monday. Junior Tom Bradbeer and senior Alex Shipon earned a victory for the Quakers in doubles competition, winning their match in three sets (4-6, 6-4, 10-4). The team will have a rematch on the road as they travel to the Haverford School today for an away match. Above, Ben Swanson featured in Chestnut Hill Local story about PC's win last week over SCH.

Boys lacrosse played the Hun School at home on Perrott Field yesterday, but fell 11-5. The Quakers trailed 7-2 at halftime and although PC added three more goals in the second half, it was not enough to overcome the deficit. The team will host Episcopal Academy on Thursday, April 26, for an exciting league game at home.

Our school cheer is: Go Charter!

We appreciate the student athletes who are now powering PC to great feats, and look forward to welcoming those who will do so in the future. Also, of course, we eternally appreciate the efforts of all OPCs!
