Softball Ends Regular Season with Big Win

Softball traveled to Episcopal Academy for the last game of the regular season and earned an impressive 13-1 win on the road. The team established a 7-1 lead early in the game before adding six more runs in the sixth inning to cap the victory.

The team will prepare for the first round of the PAISAA State Tournament, which starts on Friday, May 18. The Quakers earned a #2 seed and will host #7 seed EA at home on Max Gross Field, as they look to defend their championship from last season.

Boys lacrosse will host the first round of the Inter-Ac Tournament today at home on Perrott Field (weather permitting), the team will play Springside Chestnut Hill Academy at 5 pm.

Girls lacrosse will travel to Episcopal Academy for an away game, which will conclude their regular-season schedule. The game is anticipated to start at 4:45 pm.

Penn Charter has provided student athletes with resources to match their talents. On 44 acres, Penn Charter offers its players and fans:

  • five grass playing fields, two synthetic turf fields, one all-weather, eight-lane track, seven tennis courts, 10 squash courts, four basketball courts, and one swimming pool.
  • PC has four buildings designated for athletics: Graham Athletics Center — with the new Blaine A. Steinberg OPC '11 Center for Fitness and Performance  Kline & Specter Squash Center, Ray Dooney Field House, and the Old Gym.
