New Addition to the Athletic Department

I am pleased to announce that Blair Weymouth will be joining the athletic department staff for the remainder of the fall season. Blair will work as strength and conditioning coach in the fitness center, will supervise open gym time in the Field House, and will assist with middle school field hockey. She will be providing support and instruction for any students or adults who are interested in utilizing our fitness room. She will be available in the fitness room Monday thru Friday - 7:00am - 9:00am and in the afternoons - Monday thru Thursday - 4:15pm - 6:00pm (except for MSFH game days).   Blair will also be supervising non-fall athletes in open gym/recreational activities in the field house, Monday thru Thursday - 4:15 - 6:00pm. We are pleased to have Blair join us in this capacity.

Blair earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at theUniversity of Virginia. While a student-athlete at UVA, she was a four-time All-American on the women's lacrosse team, and in her fifth year of eligibility, Blair played on UVA’s Varsity soccer team, while earning her master’s degree in Educational Psychology. Most recently, Blair was the assistant women's lacrosse coach at DavidsonCollege. Blair brings with her outstanding athletic ability and knowledge, and she is excited about supporting the students and the adults in our school community.

Penn Charter has provided student athletes with resources to match their talents. On 44 acres, Penn Charter offers its players and fans:

  • five grass playing fields, two synthetic turf fields, one all-weather, eight-lane track, seven tennis courts, 10 squash courts, four basketball courts, and one swimming pool.
  • PC has four buildings designated for athletics: Graham Athletics Center — with the new Blaine A. Steinberg OPC '11 Center for Fitness and Performance  Kline & Specter Squash Center, Ray Dooney Field House, and the Old Gym.
