PC Hosts Math Educator CAS Conference

William Penn Charter School is pleased to host a conference on the teaching and learning possibilities of computer algebra systems (CAS) technology on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.
The conference is free to registered attendees; the cost for the popular conference is subsidized by the Penn Charter Center for Public Purpose. Registration form.

This year's keynote speaker will be Paul Alves, a long-time high school teacher and department head in Ontario, Canada, who has used computer algebra systems technology to aid student learning of mathematics. Current high school teachers using computer algebra systems technology will lead the session.
A continental breakfast will be followed by conference sessions, the keynote address at 11:30 am and lunch beginning at 12:30 pm Details.
