Program Highlights
In Beginners Tap, our youngest dancers will begin to experiment with the rhythms and patterns of tap dance. Campers will learn the fundamentals of tap and work towards style and speed. By the end of the week, students will learn names of basic steps, short warmup routines and a performance routine. Campers will also learn about fundamentals of dance and play fun rhythm-based games. Campers should come in clothes that are easy to move in. Leotard and tights are not required. Campers will need to supply their own tap shoes (rhythm taps preferred).

Becci Ford has more than 20 years of experience as both a dancer and teacher working with students from pre-kindergarten through high school seniors. She currently serves as a middle school Spanish teacher with the Haverford Township School District. She is a longtime camper, counselor and arts enthusiast.
