Arduino circuits
Program Highlights
In this camp, we will combine coding and electronics and make our own flashing light display. Campers will learn the basics of Arduino programing and circuit design.
We offer five stand-alone STEAM camps, during which campers will investigate the science, technology, engineering, art and math of a different topic. Each day will be spent doing hands on projects and making art. Campers are welcome to attend for one or more weeks.
Camp Staff: Naomi Hampsom
Naomi Hampson is a STEM educator and robotics instructor with a nonprofit after-school program. Throughout the year she develops and leads fun hands-on STEM workshops for grades 3 through 12. She believes that STEAM should be accessible to everyone and that by learning more about STEAM fields, people can find the connections between nature, science, technology, math and art. Naomi has an undergraduate degree in physics from West Chester University and a master's degree and PhD in materials science and engineering from Drexel University. In addition to working as a STEM educator, Naomi is also an artist and a technical photographer. Her photographs have been published in several books, including two textbooks.
