Program Highlights
Welcome to our STEM summer camp designed just for girls! Get ready for an exciting journey into the world of robotics, hands-on projects and mind-boggling experiments. Campers will tackle challenges, ignite their problem-solving skills, and cultivate a passion for STEM. The aim of this camp is to empower young girls, fostering their curiosity and confidence in STEM subjects in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This camp will have something for everyone with outdoor activities as we explore art in nature and the science and technology of photography. Each day will cover a different area of STEM and allow for camper’s creative side to thrive. Camper’s will have the opportunity to help decide what to explore and what questions they want to find answers to.

Camp Staff: Naomi Hampsom
Naomi Hampson is a STEM educator and robotics instructor with a nonprofit after-school program. Throughout the year she develops and leads fun hands-on STEM workshops for grades 3 through 12. She believes that STEAM should be accessible to everyone and that by learning more about STEAM fields, people can find the connections between nature, science, technology, math and art. Naomi has an undergraduate degree in physics from West Chester University and a master's degree and PhD in materials science and engineering from Drexel University. In addition to working as a STEM educator, Naomi is also an artist and a technical photographer. Her photographs have been published in several books, including two textbooks.
