Camp Staff
Kathleen McMurray directs this camp. Kathy was director of the After-School Program at Penn Charter for 34 years, and began working at PC’s Enrichment Camp in 2010, excited to share her enjoyment and fascination with construction as well as her love for the game of chess. Engineering with K’NEX is a great way to teach students basic building techniques and basic machines. Through coaching young engineers at Enrichment Camp for nine years, Kathy has helped students expand their creative minds through cooperative building and construction.

2021 Enrollment Information for One-Week Specialty Camps

Enrollment is limited, so please register early. Full payment is due at time of registration in order to hold a spot for your child and is nonrefundable. We accept credit card, money order or check payable to William Penn Charter School. If registering after June 1, full payment is due in the form of a credit card or money order.

Please note: This year we are not able to offer a lunch option or extended-day. Campers must bring their own lunch, including a beverage.

All campers must have a physical examination prior to camp. Print and complete this physical exam form for each camper and returned to the summer camp office before the first day of camp.

By registering, campers and their families agree that should they develop any symptoms in the weeks leading up to camp or during camp, (or have exposure to persons who are ill with covid-19 symptoms) they will immediately and voluntarily withdraw from participation in the camp until they have confirmed negative test results and are cleared by a physician. If there are any exposures during our camp, PC’s on-site nurse will conduct contact tracing and families will be notified of any concerns.
